Hear Me

This week we have received musical goodness from AlunaGeorge, Tender, Majid Jordan, and A$AP Rocky + Pharrell Williams. I've been following AlunaGeorge for several years now, thoroughly impressed by their breakout track "You Know You Like It," when it was first released in the UK in 2012-2013. The pop-y electronic duo never fails to deliver catchy tracks, has collaborated with Disclosure, and promises that this will be their year. Don't sleep on them. I found Tender's "Lost," on Spotify, and it's instant indie-electronic hit, upbeat and accessible enough to appeal to the masses, yet mysterious enough to intrigue the average beard-ridden hipster from Bushwick. Majid Jordan's "Every Step Every Way," is spacey, dark, sultry, and somewhat reminiscent of The Weeknd. Majid Jordan are signed to OVO, which is the record label co-founded by Drake, producer Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib, who also picked up The Weeknd back in the day. I've been listening to them a lot lately - you should too. Finally, A$AP Mob released "Hear Me," a track featuring A$AP Rocky + Pharrell Williams, it's nothing short of infectious, and it's exactly what I needed to start my weekend off right. Listen away!
